The most impressive part of this picture... I (Abby) helped! Yup, I laid out the pattern & Peter followed close behind to nail it all in. The oak is going to be stained the same color as the existing floors, and we're keeping wood in the new kitchen. It's covered with paper to keep it unblemished while we (ha! :-) put up sheetrock.

Love the wood - and the blog :) Someday I will blog... Somehow I just don't think the Oprah watching or the much anticipated switch of duvet covers is very interesting. But seriously, house is going to look amazinG!
